Did you know that you are a horse trainer?
Well, you are provided you’ve had at least one encounter of the equine kind! Horses are really observant and they learn things from people whenever they meet, so if you’ve ever met with a horse, chances are he learned from you, and so you trained him!

Would you like to be a more effective horse trainer?
Most people can become one once they have learned more about how horses really learn, from sound, evidence based information with a little application of horse sense.

Four 1 hour long Starter Modules about horse training and behaviour, introducing you to the science of learning, getting you on your way with practical lessons so you can really begin to apply the behavioural knowledge in a safe, effective and enjoyable way, and exclusive access to online course materials to mug up on in your own time.

You can take the course alone (with a 17% discount on my usual hourly rate) or with friends (it’s even cheaper that way). You can take the course in one day, or spread it over two to four separate occasions (provided you are within 50 miles of Swansea and subject to Zone Visits - but don’t worry if you’re not, I’m sure we can make some arrangements for travel further afield). Prices (for all four Starter Modules):
One Person: £100.00
Two People: £75.00 each
Three to Six People: £50.00 each

*My usual price for a one hour lesson is £30.00, four one hour lessons would normally cost £120.00

Facilities required:
The modules take place at your home and or yard where your horse is kept – equally they may take place at a riding club or equestrian centre. All we need is somewhere dry and comfortable to sit for the theory parts – ideally somewhere a computer monitor can be plugged in for larger audiences.

For the practical sessions all we need is an enclosed area with safe footing such as a dry area of a field, or a stable yard. Most of the activities are unmounted, and can all be unmounted in the case of unbroken horses/persons who are not riders.
